Hi JeffB28, I have a 57 ford custom 300 that is currently having the Y-block restored by Ted Eaton and I have an AOD from GearStar coming in the next week or two. I bought the conversion kit for this years ago. In a 2018 post you indicated that the transmission would clear the trans tunnel and that the an Anchor 2253 mount would allow the use of the original trans cross-member. Does this sound correct?
Anyway, do I need to do anything with the drive shaft other than an AOD yoke? I'm also trying to keep the column shift. It seems like Lokar has some possible solutions but thought I would check with you.
