I am limited to 1000 characters. I had typed a long post but then going back and trying to edit it to get it down to 1K is chafing my rear.

I can build FOR you. I can't teach you to build as I do though. It would take years. It would take time that I don't have.. I build on average 3 units a day, and take in about the same # of new jobs each day. I work on average 12 hours a day with NO BREAKS. I rarely get lunch. It is a high stress environment around the shop as I have to focus all day on building as accurately & quickly as I can. No time to stop and teach anyone anything. If you need parts, advise, or help with a problem-fire away! Other than that, I'm just too busy to help in any other way.

Hey Kawabuggy, my name is Mike. I just read a post where you were helping a guy out with his transmission build and I have been searching for some time to find a competent builder that would be interested in doing a little training build. I just want to know more about transmissions, specifically the 4l60e. I just finished my first build last night of a 94 in my Jimmy, getting it all together for a testdrive beyond reverse and 1st. I have a few lined up so hopefully we can work something out.

Obviously I'd be happy to pay you for your time. Let me know what you think. I'm up in Willis but driving any day of the week is fine with me.

Realizing now that I should have private messaged you this.
