Hey Latech,I just wanted take a minute to apologize for my behavior.I meant no disrepect to you or any of the mods.I wasn't defending Tech as much I was defending the,IMO,the harmless phrase.I was trying to make a point, but,I failed miserably @ doing so.That is not who I am,or,how I wanna be thought of.I consider hotrodders my home & I like it here.4jaw along with a few others can get to me sometimes. He PM'd me & gave an explanation that somewhat justifies his reasoning.I appreciated that.Again,I apologize for my behavior & I'll try to not get into this situation again.

Hello Mr LATECH. You have been very very helpful in the past in my quest of becoming an all knowing all powerful master auto tech. I have a post up now about my poor van thats been through hell and back. You have helped me with many of the issues its had in the past. It was in tip top shape with its new engine, and newer transmission, but now there seems to be a major problem with the torque converter / flexplate; or at least it sounds like a catastrophic problem. I think the flexplate is cracked, and I'm worried about damage to all the new stuff. Collateral damage. I think I am going to remove the trans myself and fix the problem. I am worried about being able to spot any damage caused by running the engine with the cracked flexplate. It sounds horrible, rattle rattle bang bang. Im worried about the trans input/pump/crank shaft etc... Maybe you can swing by my post and give me your thoughts ? Thanks!

I have a question. Are regular members able to have a "signature" at the bottom of their posts? I thought so but found "enable signature" but no where to actually make one! LOL Can you help? Thanks.

Hello LATECH Im the one with the battery draing when distrabution(under hood fuses) wire is conneccted. the truck is a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. I pulled the neg. wire off, used a digital meter as you suggested and I still have power going through the fuse buss bar. I'm just wondering after reading all the posts today ifby chance could it be a ground wire? The reason I ask this is, one would think if neg is removed- there shoud be no reading. I could proubably expain this better if you could call me at (616)514-7096 Im not sure where you are located but I'm in Michigan so dont worry bout the time....right now thats all i got going for me lol Name is Paul or Kaci may answer. Just tell her what its about. It would be greatly appreciated Thanks
