Well, Kelly, you did find me. However, since I have not logged in here for a while, I did not get your message until now, some 13 months later. But, I do know exactly what you have, although by now you have probably figured it out for yourself.

What you have is a 904 bolted to a GM engine in a Jeep, although the same case was also used in Concords and Gremlins. Jeep also used a different GM engine (S10, I think) that also bolts to a 904. Further there is even a 904 that bolted to a VW engine.

Yes, I remember your pictures. They are still up on my Tripod website. If you search your name, or maybe your email address, you may find them. lifted them from my site and has them posted without the copyright info that I put will all of the pics that I got from you and others.

No clue if you will ever get this.

Apparently I should have sent the second half first. so with the below next two messages, start with the later, then former, it will probably make more sense.

However could not remember your company name. Thinking that avenue was probably closed, I proceeded to scour the internet looking for info. After an hour or so, I finally come across "ONE" post of someone who actually may have a clue of what it is that I have, and after reading the post,... I just happen to glance up to see that the "poster" is none other than... guessed it.. Mr. mmerlinn himself. Freaky synchronicity in and of itself,... but as an added mind bower, upon clicking on your profile, I noticed how many Total Posts you have made. 727.... I'm thinking that is just too many "coincidences" and most likely you can help me with these questions.

    Very strange..

    Thanks for your time,
    Kelly Bassett.

Hello Mr. mmerlin, I sent you a message on ebay, but not sure if you will get it so I thought I would try here as well. I could not remember the name of your company or I would have just gone there. You may or may not remember me, back some years ago I sold many c4 bell housings on ebay and in fact you were the only one who sold more than I did. You may, (if you still have your c4 identification page) still have many of my photos on it. "Kelly Bassett".. So anyway... here is the story. I acquired an old Jeep DJ sometime back and have since decided to scrap it. However it had an interesting transmission in it. I appears to me to be a 727torqueflight with chevrolet bolt pattern. Racking my brain to think of who could tell me about it and where I might market such a thing of coarse I thought of you.
