Thanks for reacting to my thread "First project: 1932 Citroën Hot Rod".
I have posted an reaction but is not placed yet. I appreciate it very much, I have no real experience in hotrodding.
In the mean time I have thought about it. I would not like to end against a tree for a broken spring. The forces will be bigger as when it's designed in 1928 or so.
Then I thought I should place 4 link bars and coilovers etc. but that can only be done after I have the V8 on registration.
But now I think I know a good solution. I search for newer leaf spring best from a car with V8. Those are offered here used, for example I see a set for Dodge Ram van or Chevy Camaro etc.
I will measure them later today and search a good set.
The steering box: I plan to use electric power steering as finding a power steering box in the same style is difficult. (Looks like a 50-60 Ford F100 box.)
Any thoughts on that?
