Miscellaneous parts I.D. lookup questions.

I went to an auction over the weekend, and bought a pile of stuff for $35. I only wanted 3 items in the pile, so I got stuck with a bunch of odds and ends. There's a couple of CarQuest branded air filters, a bunch of various wheel bearing stuff, and a set of 4 loaded hydraulic brake backing plate assemblies. The brake stuff I'll sell elsewhere, but I'd like to know what those filters and bearing parts would fit. Does anybody happen to know of a website that I could do a "backtrace" to see what those parts are for? Or should I just toss the ones I know won't work for me? Suggestions are welcomed axiously.
Thanks.

In a while, Chet.

That may be a bit difficult..as far as the bearings there are part numbers on most of those so using that part number we can do an interchange lookup for a replacement..On the filters if we have the parts catalog for that brand of filter perhaps that will tell you what it was for..

Good luck
Sam

Great ideas. I hadn't thought about looking at "other" parts stores than at the Carquest online site. They could really use a better layout to be more user effective. Thanks for the guidance, I appreciate it.
