Moving south Florida need advice on hot rod

Have a job opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, looking at communities within 20 miles or so to buy a home. I have a hot rod with a 671 hanging out hood, almost as high as roof line, not loud by hot rod standards but loud enough to draw attention going down street.
My questions- any issues running car on streets in south Florida as far as police go? Am I going to have issues with typical HOA's or neighborhoods? I live in a hoa neighborhood now, no issues, obviously I don't sit in driveway and rap on it.

Thanks in advance

No way to know how your situation will play out from one day to the next. An obstruction of vision, such as you have, is illegal in any state, so IF the police want to pursue it, they can. Driving the vehicle responsibly may keep you in a similar situation as you have with your current locals, but that can change at any time, no matter where you live. All it would take is a new hire on the force, who wants to make a name for themselves by enforcing all the laws they recently learned...

As for HOA's, the people in it can change rules at any time too and put a stop your fun. You couldn't pay me to live in an HOA controlled neighborhood. I would image the entire area you are looking at, is mostly, controlled by them...
