My 1941 Buick super 8 sedan
I have been working my 1941 Buick sedan which I bought 4 or 5 yrs ago since then I have welded in a 1978 Firebird front clip and reinforced the frame installed a 4 bar rear coil-over suspension replaced every brake and suspension part. I took the body off the frame and installed it on a home made rotisserie then replaced the driver side floor rebuilt the rear underseat area installed a couple of new rocker panels and a new trunk floor as well a remove all the dents paint the firewall install a rebuilt 700r transmission a GM 350 new crate engine. When I started I didn't know how to weld so I bought a Miller 175 amp MiG welder and started practicing and except for doing the welding on the front clip and the rear four bar pieces I have done everything myself. I am now at the finish bodywork stage and I am just about finished the roof all the fenders and doors are in high solids primer. Like everything else I would dearly like to do my own prep for paint including all the bodywork and have a professional paint it. I am having a few issues so I joined this forum to get some of them answered.
