my 49 ford vert -Top?

I have A black hartz cloth top.I want to see what i can do to or use to get it black.alittle deeper.Is there a cleaner or??dye ? or???? thank you bob s

Bob, it will look much blacker if you blow the snow off it.

You know, I have a black cloth top on my roadster but have never done anything but gently wash it with a soft brush and Down dish detergent. I will be interested in what you find out.
