Cf ifs

Unfortunately the seller of the CF IFS could not remember the details of the truck he removed this unit from, However he could recall that it was from a cab chassis and not a van. So this is what I do know, it is from a commercial model and it was fitted with the larger 14" wheels with 195R14C tyres which equates to just over 1 tonne load carrying capacity, I could probably increase that by fitting commercial rubber but in any case it puts the unit within the parameters of a usefull range for me. I am sure it will be OK. I just mentioned about the heavy duty stuff just in case your engineer was not convinced.
Some of those Bedford's has awesome diffs but the ratio's were really low.
I had a single rear wheel H/Duty model and the diff ratio was 4.58 : 1 from memory.
My model was a special spec for the local fire brigade and had way over 1 tonne capacity.

The other place to look if you ever need any other truck quality items is small Isuzu or Daihatsu trucks depending on track width and your needs.

Other choices would include F250 or 350 Fords.
