A lot of times you can use an S-10 frame on these. HG

From what I've seen, longbeds are more rare! And better looking!! (IMO) I have a '41 longbed with the 216! Long Live Longbeds!! (see pics in journal) And if your keeping it stock-ish, the drums work fine when in tune!

I think you would end up with a better truck by putting a mustangII front end and changing the rear to and open driveline(nova, malibu, etc).Every truck i have seen on an s-10 frame is cobbed up,I had one that was done with a kit that someone sells. The running boards, bumpers, core support and the bed didn't fit,you could also see the frame from under the running boards. You pay more for the mII setup but it takes a lot less time and everything fits when your done.Just my 2cents

Thank you for the advice I definetly want the short bed look and I think I'm doing a little more of a custom look verses the original so I will definetly check into the front clip and rear end thanks
