Need help fixing clear coat

I painted some interior panels in my truck using a spray can. I was very happy with the color and how it looked. The paint came from Paintscratch. After a couple coats of paint I used a Preval sprayer with a urethane clear coat-2k. The preval sprayer didnt do a good job. Splattered the clear coat on. Is there a way for me do sand down the clear coat to make it look better?
or should I repaint it?

I am not a paint and body man but I did stay at a holiday inn last night....... just kidding I have been around a friends body shop for a few years........... I would say try sanding it down with 1000 ot 1500 and see if you can buff it out from there. you will be no further behind if you decide to repaint it. And it just might pan out and look decent. Should this ever occur again (which if you continue to play with cars it probably will) after you sand and get the clear coat smooth try buffing it with buffing compound that is equivalent to 2000 grit or finer. The paper is only the first step. At my buddies body shop, his son pull the car out of the paint booth the next day and starts wet sanding it ,followed up with buffing. They love to paint black that's their specialty. Live and Learn or die trying that's my motto Brian
