I don't know for sure if your talking about the vent or the 1/4 glass but it depends, a coupes back glass should roll down (not always) but a business coupe wont because theres no back seat so no need.
I just found out that it slides back .. which is great for a little vent.

I have another question Iím going to post a pic maybe you help answer

You should start a new thread with all your questions.
Put your car and year in the subject line.

Yes itís a 1938 Oldsmobile business coupe.
At first I was going with a 327 small block Chevy small joineral crank tripower but then decided I would get more hp and fuel mileage from a gen 3 ls motor so I changed to that direction 325 to 350 stock with the ls and Iíve been thanking of putting a turbo charger on it also and tune it for 500 wheel hp just by changing the cam and a tune and injectors and still could be a daily driver if I wanted to. Now my job has me working long hours and 6 days a week tell July some time so I will stock pile parts tell I can get time to work on it.
I told the wife one Sunday a month Iím working on the coupe itís better then nothing.
I bought some clay and surian wrap to put the clay in I will roll it out to about a 1/2Ē the entire length of the lower door seal and find out where my door is binding when I close it that leaves it the door bottom sticking out a 1/4Ē
And then I will reshape the rockers to have the right dimensions when it closes to seal up I had the rockers off and thought they was I. The same place but I guess something is off.
Post some pics of the area, maybe I can help. Ive been all through this with my Plymouth coupe.

It looks like you've done a lot of customizing to that dash too. Very nice
It gives me some ideas for mine.

Your welcome it was a lot of work I used the ac vents off of a Mitsubushi eclipse and then cut a pipe that they would fit in and welded that in the dash and made a ring out of sheet metal that they would lock into to hold them in place.
Here is a pic of the stock dash and one of my first attempt with new old gauges I didn’t like how it turned out so I decided to get the Dakota digital gauges and redesign the dash with the rounded part since the coupe is rounded everywhere.

Are you painting the car the same color? Cause that would look great.
