Need steering bushing?

I am shortening up A van column for my 55 chevy.Anyone know where i might find "nylon bushing" size or close. I can modify ....i think~~. This is a tilt van column..just in case thank you


Size is; 3/4"Shaft hole and 1.75" o/s diameter 2-3" long. thanks bob s

Need nylon steering column bushing.

Its good to go now! Iam looking for a bushing to fit my "van column"Cut it wrong . bob s

Might try S&W racing or Chassis Engineering - they have steering column kits that have nylon bushings - not sure about size but they might sell you a bushing by itself.

I just did this very thing. I needed a bushing for the bottom of a 64 Buick column. Since it is a power steering car, I used a nylon bushing.

I found it by getting my ID and OD measurements and then searching Ebay for what I needed. Actually, I also found a roller bearing with the right demensions for something like 10 bucks.
