PackMule Thank You For Your Reply!... I Bought Thoes Mounts. But "see the 3 Studs Shown in the pic?" There are metal connecting brackets to them; that bolt to the block. they must be different between the 2.3 & 1.8.
I Saw an '85 Courier, in Pick your Part: But, the mounts were totaly different. I would need to cut the entire motor mount system from the frame, of mine & the one in the salvage yard, than weld the new ones in; to swap.
I have the truck ready to put engine and trans in; than design motor mounts needed. (unless, I find the brackets for the 2.3 for thoes motor mounts.) Engine & Trans are 24" longer; so the rear mount will be fabed too.

It's not Anchor P/N 2774 and 2775?



Apparently those are the same P/Ns for the 1.8 L engine in both 1975 and 1978 as well as for the 2.3 L in 1978. Of course, Anchor is not always correct on their applications...

MOTOR MOUNTS (Engine Mounts)

BIG Problem!!! My '75 Ford Courier... "Getting a 140 c.i. '76 Pinto Engine Won't Mount with the 1800 c.c. engine, Mounts & Can't Find any Adapters. The '78 Courier Came with a 140 c.i. But, I Cant Find any Mount to Block Part.
