S10xGN Have you verified that steering stops aren't interfering with the rack travel? Another idea, if your steering arms are bolt-ons, you could get shorter arms and achieve the same result.

Rack and pinion

I assume that you have a Mustang II style front suspension and you are looking for a rack to fit it and have more travel. I also use a MII style on my '39 but I used an '89 T'Bird power rack. Mounts the same but lots cheaper than the MII. If you decide to look at one get the non-sport rack because it's has more turns lock to lock which will help with darting.

rack & pinion

I have a 1933 chevy pickup truck with tubular control arm suspension system. It has rack and pinion steering, that does not
have enough travel. I am looking for a power steering rack and pinion that has a travel that has a 6 !/2 inch to a 7 inch travel.
