Hi Everyone I'm trying to set the stationary side windows on my chevelle wagon. I think I can cut down some standard 3/8 x 1/2 blocks on the table saw. In the service manual it calls for a total of 8 setting blocks .20x.63x1.0 so would that be 3/16 strong x 5/8. Then they call for 8 .30x.44 so would that be 5/16 strong x 7/16. I know the glass needs to be just the right height or the moulding wont snap on to the clips. I've found only one place to get the rubber blocks auto body tool mart $6.00 for 50 but it gals me to pay $13.00 shipping for12 ounces. I guess I might have to if that's the only supplier. Thanks for all ideas

glass setting blocks

Hi everyone Thanks for the reply WABOOM So I stopped by a commercial glass company and they gave me a handful of what they call 1/4''x1''x4'' I think they measure 7/32 or 235 with the calipers. So would you say they would work for the .20 blocks? They gave me some other odd looking ones that are 11/32 x 5/16 I think I can get the .30x.44 out of those. what do you think? I don't remember cutting rubber on the table saw before could be interesting.
