Your new wiring harness didn't come with a diagram? What brand did you buy?

Attached are a couple of wiring diagrams for your '53 Ford - one for 6 cylinders, and one for V8 cars.

JeffB They are available on ebay for around $10 they are 11" X 14" and laminated so you can take it out to the shop and if you get grease on it,just wipe it off Got one myself.This also the best money you can spend on your Ford

1953 Ford Customline

I need a wiring diagram for the car. Can anyone help me. someone wired it up wrong the blinkers only work on one side and my overdrive kickdown does not wor any more since i had it painted and re wired.
