ran 1/8 mile a few weeks ago just 2 passes. [email protected] and a [email protected] I don't have a cage so that's below what the track wanted I got a nice warning.. lol and haven't had time to get back to the track
ran that with only 6 psi of boost , the high compression e-85 combo works good

should go 10:80's

Project89#2 its back together and running on corn juice now
should have some videos to post up soon , and possibly some time slips tonight

Project89 welp the car will be back together soon

new 80# injectors , new crower cam , 450lph walboro pump

compression comes out to 12.3-1, this thing should be an animal with that compression and on boost with e-85

Project89 well he came across a deal for a brand new 3.4 hybrid motor for 200$ so he picked it up

new motor is a 3.4 instead of a 3.1 with a slightly larger cam , will be using the 3400 heads and intake again

the problem atm is the engine is setup as a 12.x-1 cr motor not sure if hes going to buy a set of dish pistions for it or run it on e-85 yet

im hoping he leaves it as is an opts for the e-85 route

Project89 i forgot to mention that the motor let loose at a dead idle , so were not sure what happened , anyways the new motor will make more power , he was going just as fast as the guys with the bigger v6's and he got 3 or 4 years out of that bone stock 3.1L , next engine will be 3.5L

Project89 [email protected] mph and then next pass

upgrade to a 3.5L/3500 or 3.9L/3900 motor which will make a bunch more power = 275$

Project89 car loves the nice cool air thats comming in

cars out of injector but hes not going to upgrade till the winter

over the winter he is putting the cage in , he cant run any faster then 11.50 right now , and hes still only running it on low boost , im sure hell have to turn the boost down as the air temps start to drop this fall

besdides the cage and injectors this winter he should also be doing a rear end swap , hes still on the stock 7.5 inch 10 bolt , and more then likley a transbrake to go with the new rear

Well the car did good at the track. Best pass of a [email protected] 1.91 60 foot. Launching at 2400. But here is a problem I've noticed lately. It makes alot less power up top then it use to. Rpms don't want to go up very much. As of now I'm shifting a 5600 to make those low 12 second passes.

It's very noticable.

springs he was running is on the left its a stock 3100 valve spring

The old cam was this

Lobe sep 111.8
Duration at .050 intake-209
exhaust-212
Lift with 1.6 rockers intake-.457"
exhaust-.465"

New delta 270 cam
Lobe sep 110.2
Durrration @.050 intake-224
exhaust-226
Lift with 1.6 Rockers intake-.501"
exhaust-.509"
