OldTech I do have a Lisle - It is my newest one (15 years old?) and it is the one I goto first - it's a low profile creeper - that way if I fall off it I don't hurt myself too bad.
The other is a Snap-On metal framed creeper. I had to replace the foam in the headrest and reupholster it.

You should get a Lisle one if you don't have it, that is the best that I have ever used. I have a good old wooden SnapOn one that I used for years, then got that Lisle and forgot about the SnapOn one!

I have a number of rugs from the trunks of totals that I use, you know the ones with Corolla or Lexus stitched into them? LOL They work awesome, rubber on the bottom so they don't slide much and so you can put it on a wet parking lot or something. They work very well.

johnsongrass1 Don't tell anyone but I've used my creepers as wheel dollies before.

302 Z28 Do not buy what looks like the Lisle creeper from HF. I made that mistake and after about six months the wheels on my HF creeper degraded to the point it was useless.

38project I saw one on Groupon today for $32.99, a roll around stool that converts to a creeper.

I sewed up a kneel pad just for car stuff. It had seams so it could b folded into about 12 x18 flat pillow. Gone with my big trailer.
The kneel pad is so you DON'T get bad knees! You use it from day one!
