496CHEVY3100 If you move the radiator in front you might fit a shroud,,But in my opinion they dont look as good mounted in the front,,i cut out a front cover to hide mine ,but cant get the picture to post..

EDIT

I had to take picture of the screen with my phone, and color is not correct,,,i dont have a Pink truck,,lol.

Just a precaution.

There was not a lot of aftermarket items avalible to put a BBC in a 53 chevy truck so I had to make a lot of it ,,someday I might update it.

blue truck was when I started on it.

The fan manages to cool around town and gets more airflow on the highway, but the real reason it has no shroud is because I only have 1/2" between the fan and the water pump pulley. A BBC also.

Too Many Projects We've been here over 19 years. My shop didn't exist when we moved here. The new shop is about 600 sq ft smaller. I have a contractor coming tomorrow to estimate another pole building for storage of the stuff that isn't going to fit in the existing one. I met with another contractor Tuesday, but he and 2 other pole builders are already booked out to January. The one tomorrow can get me in, in October, so he is the leading candidate right now. I just need to do more research on Wick buildings for quality.

We did the final walk thru last night and it all looks good. The seller had an estate sale last Saturday and we were concerned it would get beat up with people trampling around and moving furniture out. We attended the sale and bought the wicker furniture she had in the screen room and the John Deere lawn tractor. The Toro I have here is 17 years old with 870 hours on it and quite worn out, so I will leave it for the next owner to have something to maintain the "estate" with..

John long I have been in this house for 18 years. I can't even imagine moving.

My wife and daughter bought me an on line auto upholstery course for my birthday. I have really been enjoying it. Even though I have done my own interiors for years there are always things you pick up when you watch how somebody else does it.

496CHEVY3100 Moving is my least favorite thing I can think of,,especially moving shop equipment and tools,,if both shops were the same size you could set it up like the old shop and be able to find Most stuff,,but for me it has never worked that way,,the roll bac and forklift really makes it eaiser,,,but never easy,,,

Hope you enjoy the new home .

Too Many Projects It's getting real now. Our closing is at 9 am tomorrow. I got 1 lift ready to load on the rollback. I had it on 4 2x4's to park a camping trailer under and I have no idea how I got it up there. I got the casters under it, but couldn't find a way to lift it and get it on the ground after removing the blocking. I used the fork lift to assemble it, so I must have used that to raise the legs.

I just hooked up the winch and drug it off the blocks and up the ramp.

It's right up to the winch and barely made it on the tail end.

Apparently my cottonwood tree hanging over the driveway is a little low and the lift leg trimmed some off..

You know that's an A/C condenser and the high pressure side. Could it have actually worked?

Not that it matters but a 55 has bowties on the trim panel a 56 has bars like the grill,,the door panels and sterring wheel are also 56,,,well 55 and 56 wheel I think are the same,i think.56 just a little flatter.
