|Too Many Projects||I like to tease the PDR guy that works out of Centerline when he brings in a car with a 12" crease a dealer wants him to remove. I walk by and say, "cool, another $100, 3 minute job....that should just "pop" right out..|

Probably kills his gusto though but I mean what'cha gonna expect right there doing that? Pugsy and the pea.
Your comment reminded me of an old boss and an adjuster when you say it like that. "All thats gonna come right out as soon as you start to pull." With that come on man tone, talking about a kink three feet up a rail when you're barking for scraps. You know the kind.
Can I get a harrumph to that, crash stuff knowers?

Like I said, you'll find the right way to knock on her. Almost looks like a feller could man up on em with channel locks and just shove em down a smidge. Mind which way the wipers end up pointing, though. I thought New Yorkers aren't supposed to be moving around much right now wonder what happened.
TMP & 123P, Your thoughts are helpful. I saw a truck on the way home that acted as catalyst for your components and betwixt all of it, y'all done sparked me a color idear.
Good stuff for the thread after chores, don't miss out. Heres the good fluff.

Had an estimator out to look at the new shed and give me an estimate for concrete. He beat the builders bid by $600. Guess who's doing the concrete work in 3 weeks...

Well, all my staff will not report tomorrow. I have one guy coming and 2000 face shields to produce. Our shear is not working correctly to boot.

Yep, grey works well for contrast with Yellow. At one time, I had the front fenders on the Pete painted a medium gray metallic and they really looked good. Unfortunately there are no pics on a computer and those fenders went in the scrap pile after the truck slid down my icy driveway and totaled the hood on a tree. I had the new hood painted the matching solid Yellow, to get it back on the road sooner and less costly, as it came out of my pocket.
I like a pearl white too, or for REAL contrast a bright blue or aqua...
Window louver, I would tend to want to leave body color, as, to me, too much contrast there makes it look like a clown car. If the stripe ends up black, the original flat/satin black of the factory louver would look correct.

Don't worry, closing the flurry... of posts... (about ghosts?)
I just knew it. Well had a strong feeling anyhow, that my new lunchbox was an heirloom. Uncle Jack and Jerry (twins, RIP) got out of the USAF in about '55, one went to Cessna and one to Beech, and Jerry had the box then but it may have been AF issue says Paw. Their big brother might know and will get asked about it. Jerry worked on instruments, etc and he and Jack held a time record for swapping out engines on one model of trainer. Grandpa other side was a parts guy working around the bombsight for the Enola Gay. Aircraft instrumentation was double naught spy stuff back then, I tell you what.
Anyway, as with many daily use items, my lunchbox served long before I was an eye twinkle. Dadgum. Reflections. Looking forward to a good week.

Metallic grey if not black.
I don't know of the different stripes on Mustangs....notice I didn't say the incorrect "Stangs" name which only belongs to the 74 to 04 models owned by guys that think a cat back Borla is the greatest thing on earth....
louvers same color of course.
Damn...back to Coronaville tomorrow. I was enjoying worry free living for two days.

Make no mistake, it was a mite sketchy. Was just coveting my neighbor's ladder before dark.
This weekends latter project was a mild success, short of a flop but barely, so allow e to sensationalize the other one further...
Sent my folks a pic of the lunchbox and am taking their memories for a jog. Details forthcoming, woohoo.
I deemed one side worthy of the Hooker sticker I been saving, and I had another different little one for the top. Somewhere around here theres a the Judge decal in the blue combo I think. Saving a spot til I come across it.

I bet you'll find just the right way to knock on that, Pugsy. Look good from here but maybe can see a tad of warp. With all the A: tension and loss of thickness from stamping, and B: the shave and then reshape at front plus C: thick bungs... on that panel... Nice.
Now, I need help from you and TMP because you both like yellow. Any other lurking yellow lovers, speak.
Name your pick for two tone or stripe color on yellow (after black please)
While you are at it, (imagine) I am giving you both fastback Mustangs. One has the GT rocker stripe, the other has that what they call the C stripe, around the scallop on the side. Who gets what or is there conflict?
You can have rear window louvers too if you tell me what color.

|Too Many Projects||Both of my lifts are 120v and I've always "marveled" at how slow they are. I didn't want 240 because they were on a storage side of my shop without power and a 75 ft extension cord worked. Now they are 200 ft from any power and I ran an extension cord to operate the one out in the new building. When I need to get the '38 down to remove the lift, I will take the generator with, instead of dealing with all those cords...never thought about using that...|
