Patch is on for keeps but no weld yet-
I wanted to knock out the hood hinge pocket revision while access was good-
So I went back and forth between that task and this one, filling in at the old upper hinge while allowing welds to cool-
All the final butt weld trimming is done so it is literally ready to begin welding-
It rained this morning. Half the people didn't show and we were down a guy or two already. Theres no cars in the other half of the grey room. I was able to get some work done.

Two for Pugsy-
Thats a '19, this is the '39-
The second fastback got epoxy today but no pic.
Below is a few minute sketch for Mike, on the A-
There is a Pantera story to tell, with some pro pics. Prod me over the weekend if I don't kick it out and you get bored.
Here yonder is that there-
I'm fixing to weld. Several many preparations remain but I'd like to get that patch on today-

Frankly, white is the exception on me liking pearl colors. It is an interesting effect and accent but boy I got burnt out painting 3 step Caddys and Nissans and such back in my gunslinging days. Yuck to three step junk.
I associate a color like that with Yenkos.
Reckon I just need to lay off morning internet, but I swear a fluke happened today.
Even more disorienting was first thing when I walked in the shop was chick on stepstool sanding Mustang roof in fishnets. Must be jelly. Jam don't shake like that.
Derailed by an oncoming loaded caboose.
Not factory, thank gawd.......every one I see at a parking night is always stock. 98% of the time that is.
And here I am, posting from phone on my wifi. Man. Why does my world have to make me look like an idiot so much?
Back to having a great day, I better do the hustle.
I thought it looked real similar to that blue on Chevelles.
It appears that the wifi part of my phone quit working. But the old tablet also won't connect. So if they connect to work wifi here shortly, I'll be really lost as to what happened. This newer tablet works like a champ here.

Won't be "original" as the car was white with black top and interior out of the factory. Not a combo I am fond of and it's a shell anyway, so I will make it what pleases me. That Blue is similar to a factory color of that year, but not exact. That should have people guessing which original color it's supposed to be...
Ah, dream on, that car is years away from paint...

|idrivejunk||Strange, confusing way to start the day...only one device out of three will connect to the web.|
Yesterday 05:24 AM
I thought of your 70 first. Yep.
I would have to confirm no mica myself but the whole must not have mica thing gets no support from me. I digress, I was kinda making fun by mentioning it.

Acapulco Blue. Off a Chrysler. All aluminum, no mica in the formula.
Thanks ! That would look great on my '70 SS too...

The afternoon felt like the back barrels on a QuadraJet with the air cleaner lid flipped.
All the cab seeds sown, over all this time, are ripe. Picking them off now seems like shooting fish in a barrel after what I just endured.
Maybe this won't run too long at all now. The cab. Not feeling so crowded at today's end anyway. Doing myself a treat by using a tablet tonight so's I can post with two fingers.
Here, have a blue-in-sun pic-
I know you guys don't care much for my Winnie the Pooh references but I went right to Tigger almost, from a forced Eeyore. Felt good, like a dog who found a hole in the fence and gets to pee on the world now. Sufficiently so, that in the excitement I didn't even get a pic of one of the main things I did. Weld up a short strip of fill on the back edge of the door. Oh well, you'll see it. Gosh, you don't mind, do you?
I was busy marking other territory-
Ready to take the patch off and finally trim the cowl for the butt, and the door is ready for hinge pocket completion followed by dent and rust repair. Glad to be here at last.
