MARTINSR Realistically it's an "Ecoat" and will hold up pretty well. Do a lacquer thinner rag rub test and see if anything comes off on the rag. That is usually a damn good sign.

Strip primer on new fender or nor

I bought cheap new front fenders for my 01 Grand Cherokee. One fit like a glove, the other one can't be bent poked stretched etc enough to make it fit so I used a piece of it to cut out and replace the rusted part above the wheel. On the new fender that fit, should I remove the cheap primer on it or just spray SPI epoxy primer over top of it.
