Corvette ramhorn 2.5" manifolds flow rather well. Even the ones from jegs and speedway polish/port up nice. They seal great and fit good.
If you want headers run them. But manifolds should be considered as a option.

|TubeTek||Does the car have A/C? Headers put a tremendous amount of heat into the footwells on a Corvette. I had headers on my non-A/C 69 for years, and finally switched it back to cast iron manifolds because it was unbearable to drive in the summer, and particularly so in any stop and go traffic.|

That's the correct tube routing for an in-chassis header(non-sidepipes).
My experience with these Ebay headers has been the same as Imsport's. I haven't bought that exact header application but the two pairs of full length for other applications fit excellent and are made very well....better than most USA made headers to be truthful about it. Thicker flanges ground flat for full contact, TIG welding, and stainless at plain steel MIG welded pricing .
Another gasket tip...if you've got good flat cast openings in the head, just a thin bead or High-Temp Red silicone RTV works vert well, use no gasket to burn out at all.
Might want to buy better header to head bolts, the China bolts provided aren't the best...might be fine in cast iron, I was afraid to use them in aluminum as the thread fit was a little too loose to satisfy me.
Make sure you anti-seize every bolt, stainless galls and sticks easily if not lubed..

|lmsport||I have not bought that header before, but have bought multiple cheap stainless headers from eBay and they impress me alot, seem well made, fit fine, and look cool. The gaskets are garbage like all included header gaskets, get some of the all metal gaskets, either aluminum or copper.|

1967 corvette headers
A friend at work inherited his brothers 1967 corvette and he has asked for my help getting it back into shape so that he can daily it in the summer. His goal is a solid reliable driver, not a numbers correct restoration - just something he can drive anytime and anywhere.
So, with the original engine MIA, and a 350 out of (he thinks) a blazer or something it is a running and driving vehicle but still needs a lot of work.
It had a full length exhaust installed and the shop told him at least one manifold is cracked. Even with the new exhaust he said it sounds like a garbage truck, so no doubt it still needs a manifold or gasket.
I mentioned putting headers on it as an option to replacing a manifold. For about the same cost I see stainless headers on eBay. But Before recommending anything I wanted input here.
Are these quality units?
They look good with 3/8+ thick flanges and say they fit.
Can someone who knows more about headers for that vehicle put an eye on them and offer an opinion? I want to help him get it going, not cause more problems.
What about the hardware and gaskets? What’s the best problem free approach to those? Every vehicle I’ve put headers on has required occasional tightening the bolts. Is there a trouble free solution that won’t work loose?
