38 old coupe I found out today they want 750 to tune and another 150 to put it in the Dyno Iím in the wrong field of work.

38 old coupe Yea Iím going to get hp tuners when I can afford it.
Iíve also been debating on the Holley terminator x that self tunes.
Itís psi conversions they make harnesses and sell pcms
I couldnít find one in the wrecking yard so I baught one of theirs and they deleted vats and turned off all the sencers that throws codes that Iím not useing

64nailhead All kidding aside and not knowing who 'psi' is, why don't you take it to someone that can tune it? If you do, then problem solved.

Too small of injectors causing a lean code at idle is a tune issue IMO. Changing the VE table in the idle area will take approx 10 minutes with HP Tuners.

38 old coupe Psi programmed the wrong injectors in the first time then they redid them and still got the codes and last night I noticed I put the mass air flow flowing the wrong way. So I turned it around last night and reset the codes but I havenít ran it yet.
I called psi this am they said that it would give you lean codes or cause rich codes but more then likely lean codes

Sure hope that fixes it

Excellenceautosoluti Check your Short Term Fuel Trim [STFT] while the car is warmed up and idling. They should be between -%10 and +%10 for both sides, and should bounce around a little. You can play around while watching these to find out where your vacuum leak is at. Or you may have another problem like too small of injectors or weak fuel pump or something else. I have a bunch of experience with these while they are living in their original vessels. The problems you are having may be related to some parameters being changed with the swap.

39 master I can only tell you what caused my lean codes and you can take it from there. Turns out my problem was the tune used the wrong size injector. Once that was corrected I've never seen the codes again. Short and long term fuel trims are where they should be now.

6.0 lq4 getting lean codes both banks

Hello Iíve been getting p0171 and p0174 leans both banks itís in my streetrod Iíve been getting these codes since Iíve gotten it running and new o2 sencers and new intake gasket no vacuum leaks that Iíve found and no exzaust leaks.

I just noticed today that I had the mass air flow sencer in backwards.
I only get the codes when the car idols warmed up

Would that cause my lean codes ?
