matt167 SSD will make a difference. Even if it's SATA II and not III it is still twice as fast as a spinner hard drive.

Bringing up my hot rodded Dell XPS15Z. A 7 year old piece of Dell junk, a machine with a poor reputation. It was supposed to take on the MacBook Pro but bombed on quality to be produced for only one year.
