BuzzLOL [QUOTE=MARTINSR;4742023] Have to box up the compressor to get the noise down, that's my next real project. I am happy with it all, I thought I was going to do the compressor box but that got side tracked with the others stuff. /QUOTE]

Is that one of those direct drive compressors that sounds like a machine gun rather than the much quieter belt drive compressors?

If build a sound box, 5 sides prolly quieter than 4 sides...

Got a lot done cleaning up, organizing, got the bench bolted to the wall. I will have my old vice soon, my brother is sending it to me. When I moved I gave it to his son, but I said I would like to have it so he is sending it to me. I bought it for my first house in 1979. Google Pinterest and put "Compressor silencing" in the search engine and there are some cheap solutions.

But you are making progress and that's what counts...

I made a milestone today. I finished reinforcing the truss with the raised joist and cut out the center. Nothing fell apart and the roof stayed up...

Yeah, everyone is doing "ok" I know it's hard and we all have some issues, but we are doing ok. This Corona thing hit us pretty hard, not a good time for it with us. But it's funny because back in California it would have been even harder I think. Anyway, for the most part we are loving it. Just some odd side affects.

Any noise, odors, wow, I don't what my house to be a body shop, you know what I mean?

Anyway, I am on my way to getting back to working on the truck. Still a little go do, need to have a 30 amp breaker added for my welder and need to make a "quiet box" for the compressor. Got some things today for that, going out there right now to see what I can do.

123pugsy Drive line, should have said suspension....kind of related.
I added link bars between rear control arm mount points and boxed the uppers. I had already boxed the lowers.
I brake torqued a bit and still had a bit of hopping....just won't do that then.....
