how to build a 1928 roadster Hello. M y name is Shane and I have just purchased a 1928 Ford roadster. The chassis is boxed out, It has I.F.S. ,is channeled 5 inches, completley rust free and straight and a 327 bored out to 333, 9 inch diff rebuilt and a muncie 4 speed gearbox. The person selling just wanted to get rid of it and sold at a bargain price. As long as I have wanted a hot rod, I have done nothing to learn about actually building one. What I need to know is how I need to go about building this car into one mean street machine that is drivable on the street, but is capable of quick E.T's. down the local drag strip. Additional info, the body is steeled out, but because of the channel job the previous owner welded the doors closed and also the boot |
