kitkar My brother had that happen in Chambersburg, back in the 70's. He worked for a Chrysler dealer @ the time. He did nothing but recond. flooded vehicles for months.

dinger If your insurance doesn't carry "flood" insured, keep an eye out for state disaster relief. some insurance companies weasel out on the "act of God" disasters. good luck. Dan

Rodrunner Just got back from my garage, What a mess! There's about an inch of mud all over everything.
The water got up over the engine, and the heads were off. There's mud all down in it. I got a lot of work to do if I want to go HK'S trip to Tenn. My van is in worse shape, The water got up over the dash in it, I think it's hopeless.

My garage got flooded

I had a head to crack on my van so I go to my garage to work on it this morning, The van is parked outside because I have my 57 chevy in the garage and the guy I rent the garage with has his 57 chevy in there too. So anyway I do as much as I can to the van, pull the heads off and prepare the new heads to go on, because it's raining some I can't do too much, around 2:00 I leave for lunch, a couple hours later I decide to go back to the garage and finish putting the heads on the van. To my suprise all the roads were blocked I parked on a road overlooking my garage and the water was half way up my van, it has no heads on it and everything is getting soaked! My 57 also doesen't have any heads on it. At least I've got insurance on them. sometimes I have the worst luck!!
