Not new but improved

Bringing up my hot rodded Dell XPS15Z. A 7 year old piece of Dell junk, a machine with a poor reputation. It was supposed to take on the MacBook Pro but bombed on quality to be produced for only one year.

I replaced the sound and screen drivers, the screen, took out the hard drives to substitute SSD's, and replaced the muffler bearings.

Sooo, this is a test drive to see if it kinda works. I expect my reputation around here is that I don't like computers, that's true I'm not enamored of them but neither am I incompetent of working on them, I just don't find it interesting.

SSD will make a difference. Even if it's SATA II and not III it is still twice as fast as a spinner hard drive.

Well Bogie, you've made it out into the public view. I think I may hear one of your new muffler bearings squeeking a bit but you are certainly running under your own power.
