Which paint should i use?? Please Help

Ok i am fairly new to the paint industry and have started my small shop in the Miami area , im about to start painting using PPG brand basecoates, and for the primer and clears im wondering what is the best route for me. I have 2 options currently between using PPG brand products or this new brand which a local body shop has informed me about called Aliencoate. has anyone tried this product , and which one would be best for my application?

The only information i could find is on their website which looks real sweet id love to know if the products are as good as the website. here is the website

thanks PJ

I would use the ppg. Not only have they been around forever, also you would be using products from the same manufacturer that would be compatible. Not that many, myself included, don't mix products from different manufacturers with success. If you are a legit shop in business, and use all ppg products, and follow there procedure, you could get certified and offer ppg's lifetime paint warrenty, would likely give customers a warm fuzzy feeling. Also if someone asks anyone who knows at least a little about paint, and says, yeah the shop uses ppg, they would likely say, yeah ppg makes good paint. If they ask your average painter or someone somewhat familar with paint, and say yeah the shop uses aliencote, it would be likely that more often then not, the reply would be, I never heard of em.

Use a name brand paint. PPG, House of Kolor, DuPont, Nason, Martin Senor, not the junk that aliencoate sells on e-bay. A slick web site doesn't mean the paints are any good.

Just as important is to get your materials from a jobber that supports his customers as you will have questions about the materials..

I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..
