Painting inside hard to reach spots

Does anyone have any hints on how to paint inside hard to reach spots like inside the drip rails, body mounts, etc.
I am getting ready to paint my 55 Nomad and always have trouble with these areas.

Yes, I saw that but I am talking about things you can see like inside the roof drip rails.

Aside from practicing fan and fluid adjustment on the fly and then being good enough at that to work those as you spray and keep a wet edge going.... There are the small guns, called detail or touch up guns. You can load one up and hang it in the booth so you can switch back and forth if need be. But seriously, everybody gets the areas you mentioned done with a full size gravity gun usually.

There was another thread about spraying inside a glove box or on little airplane models also, at about the same time as the one Brian linked. They may have got mixed up, I know that happens to me.

If there are areas of concern for you, and you are using base / clear paint, theres no harm in spraying the tight spots to full coverage first then spraying the rest of the job without worrying about them. If you are using single stage paint, you'll really just have to nail it as you go which is more challenging. Do practice playing with that fan knob but keep in mind that failure to readjust it after spraying the tight spot is a leading cause of runs. Check the knob constantly. Bumping the fan adjustment by mistake without realizing it can burn you, just ask how I know.

Don't forget also that if the situation calls for it, theres no reason you can't rotate the air cap. Again, don't forget you did it! But that coupled with fan and corresponding fluid flow adjustments should get you into just about anywhere you can see.
