Prepping to Show my 68

After many false starts and unexpected issues last summer I finally was able to enjoy my car for the better part of the summer. I did a number of shows but was really babying the car and saving the paint and finish for a big show late this Feb. It is an indoor show so the paint needs to be perfect as artificial light really shows any flaws. Once I am done this show when the weather and roads permit hopefully some longer road trips will be on the menu. Even though the car was pretty pristine we are still going through a thorough prep as I expect the quality of cars in the show to be very good. I am attaching some pictures of the underside prep as I expect the judging to look at the under side just as thoroughly as they see the top side. Also attached is a sign board that we made for the general public so that they can read some detail on the car.

It looks pretty clean from here. My friend lost points because the bottom of the drivers mirror was dirty and there was one lug nut with rust in one spot.

Good luck.
