Prestone Antifreeze in a red can

Hello, I am constructing a gift for my neighbor who restores hot rods. I found some empty Prestone Antifreeze jugs in pristine condition in my attic and I want to build a display for them so my neighbor can put it in his shop which is fixed up like an old gas station. I'm 40 years old and all my life prestone has come in the yellowish green jug. These jugs are red and I was hoping someone could tell me approxiamtely how old they might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated....THANKS!

Are they meatl gallon cans? I found some on the net through google doing a search for "vintage prestone cans". I came up with the time period from 1929 to around 1935.

Here's a picture of one. http://www.flickr.com/photos/christi...on/3338417511/

If I remember correctly, the red jugs were discontinued when it was mandated that gasoline was to be purchased/stored in red containers, probably late 60's.
