Sbc 350 down rev shudder/pulse noise

Hi everyone, I'm new to the Forum so hopefully this post is okay! My sbc started making this shuddering/pulsating noise once the throttle is released during a free rev. I've spent the last few hours trying to pinpoint the problem with no luck. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? the oil pan is slightly touching the steering rack, I will be spacing it up slightly, however this has never caused a problem before. It is still open headers, so could it just be sound reverberation and i'm overthinking it? youtube video will be posted as well showing the sound.

Thanks for the reply! Ive been working on it over the winter, its a 88 rx7, that i'm building for a fun weekend car. It hasn't been driven since last spring, and that was only around the block once. It had a bad carb at that point so i didn't get on it at all, just was making sure it transferred power to the wheels okay. It didn't have any rattling or noises from the rack contact before today, i used a piece of fuel line up to my ear to listen to the rack and the noise didn't seem to be coming from there. almost sounds internal to the engine. I was thinking of pulling the trans tomorrow to inspect the clutch, flywheel and see if anything is loose or rubbing.
