sbc to blow of not to blow

so I have my block at the machine shop and we have not yet ordered pistons or any thing else for the top end... and im starting to have 2nd thoughts about using a supercharger... feer of the unknown!

The goal is 500 plus hp but id prefer to be in the 550 PLUS range same goes for tq. Im looking at using the magnuson mp122 supercharger to achive this... any opinions? cost? up keep? finding parts? gas mileage? streetable? and anything else I might like to know

Supercharge it. You won't be disappointed. Gas mileage won't be great because you will probably have a hard time keeping your foot out of it.

You will have a lot nicer running 550 hp blown motor than the same unblown. That I can tell you as a fact....been there, done that.....have that.
