After reading this thread about rust removal I have one question.
(I hope this isn't a dumb one) after sanding all the paint off a
panel I usually wipe it with wax remover and prime imediately,
do I need to do something else before priming?
And if not then why can't surface rust (the light stuff) on
flat panels just be run over with a sander with fine paper
and forget the navel jelly and rinsing and all?
Wouldn't that be easier?
