Snap On KRL 1023

Bought an Extreme Green KRL series box today.
The old Matco box I have had for 20 years ,That was 20 years old when I got it ....well ........sometimes you just want a bit of an Upgrade.
I will be getting the stainless top for it soon.
The picture is not My box, but one just exactly like it.
It does have more storage and I needed it as I have stuff that is stacked on top of my old box because there isn't any room in it

I am glad you bought something besides black or red. I bought a Yellow Snap On KRA box 7 or 8 yrs ago. Some co-workers thought I was nutz.

The green is reminiscent of the green that was used on the early 70s MOPARS ,like the 340 dusters etc.
And yes, I didn't want red or black. My co workers said "GREEN" ???
But..... by days end all said they liked it.

Congrats on the box!

This summer I treated myself and got the "candy red" box - same model like yours. At least at my age it will be the last one I buy, maybe after I get the top

Regards

Thanks MecGen.
Probably (for sure) the last Box I will buy.
I am looking to getting the stainless top, and maybe later the "Garage" for the top of it.

I think I'll go out to the shop and kick my 1947 Pressteel. Nope, it's one of the gang.

Congrats on you new box. You probably paid more for it than I did for my first fifteen cars.

Lights (LED) and a power strip. We have a puter and an I POD at the shop so no need for cables etc.

Nothin too crazy.

Kinda hated giving up my old roller, but I got what I paid for it after owning it 20+ years.
Got into the new box for under 4K with the trade.

Back in the day 4K would get you a parking lot full of used cars...LOL
I could have opened a used car lot .
I have bought cars for 1 dollar, 100 dollars ,I bought one for 195 dollars once. It was all the money I had In my pocket which was the offer.Seller had no Idea but gambled on it. They were fine with the deal. They wanted it gone.

Nice box and a heck of a good price at less than 4k with the trade.

I bought a Snap-On last year. It was flat black and the dealer was having a hard time selling it. I got it for 2k less than list and had it painted Yellow but I've still got $3500 in it.

The only thing I don't like is the drawer locks needing to be pushed sideways all the time.

snap-on is way overpriced but worth it if your a shop tech

and wayne... really???
you need to serious de-clutter your box
my pet peeve is techs that buy a snap-on krl whatever box and fill it with junk/parts/papers
