Sniper

How well do the Holley sniper efi systems tune themselves. Is it pretty spot on or do they require alot of fine tuning to get the most out of them ?

Although I don't have a Sniper, I do have my EFI setup controlled by another Holley product, the HP EFI unit. Your best bet is to go here:

https://forums.holley.com/forumdispl...?82-Sniper-EFI

The Holley website has a great forum for all of their EFI products, and you'll get a wealth of information there about everything Sniper related.

That being said, the EFI units do tune themselves to some extent, but manual tuning may also be required to wring out every bit of its potential based upon your engine/transmission combination.

Good luck with your Sniper.

Steve

my experience is that stockish engines with auto trans do great, manual trans cause problems as you shift due to the changing load and throttle position and it's hard to get them to not go lean or rich. there are perhaps 12 different ways to adjust the accel enrichment and it's a chore
