Thanks Dave, Now I don't have to loose any sleep over it tonight, or edit my post in the morning.

I new someone would remember this!

Congrat's on your kids doing well in baseball, must be the training in eye to hand coordination. Such as in swinging a hammer, or cutting a straight line with a torch.

Don't swat that fly overhead, that's me just watching your build. LOL

I have to laugh, every time I think about a Cop, or Insurance writer, writing up a report about this Ranger being Rear Ended. UHHH it got hit in the grill", or "it needs a new front bumper, and hood, fenders, and grill, UHHH yes it was rear ended." LOL

Back on the Lone Ranger theme, the front truck would need a black bra on it.

Since it is 2 Rangers, horses keep coming to my mind. Like 'Trigger', Roy Rogers horse, and Dave help me(name please), Dale Evans horse.

Here's another one Dave. How about the name of the leading horse in "Blazing Saddles".

Horses

Dale Evans rode "Buttermilk" - but I cannot recall the name of hoss in Blazing Saddles

Must be gettin' senile - I can remember the stuff from when I was a kid, but where I put my car keys? A sure sign of "old-Timers" disease!

They say memory is the second thing to go, but I can't recall what the first was

Well my son and his friend came in the shop tonight..I asked if they want to take the dash out the back half..Well I didn't have to ask twice,They dove head first in that truck..I have to say,They took that dash out faster then anyone I have seen take one out.. Look's like I may have to hire them.... Here's the results..I can't say how fast,Because they where done by the time I got my watch..

I noticed the finish on the new sheetmetal, 'mill slag' or whatever you want to call it. 16 gauge??

I dunno if you are the bodyman on this project or not, but getting that bluing completely off the new metal will help the filler and primers adhere. Not a bodyman here, just speaking from personal experience.

Again, best of luck with the project.

Thanks,I know all about that, But I'm not doing the body work...My friend that own's this truck, is really good with body work..He is going to rough in the most of it,But he has a guy that does his painting for him..My shop isn't set up to do any painting,Need's to be a lot bigger.plus I don't have enough time to get in to the body work part of it..I can do it,just don't like to do it.. I really enjoy doing the custom fab part of it...
