SPI Paint Experts a question for you

Ok here is the deal.
I got to busy today to Call Barry at SPI to ask but what is the safe cure time of SPI Epoxy primer to install FatMat over. I don't want to cover the paint until it has had a chance to cure. is that the 7 day time or is it allowable to cover it right away?

I need to put FatMat on the inside of my decklid before I fit the skin and rivet the assembly together.

As Fat mat is closed cell I would think it may hinder outgassing, or is the Epoxy cured by a chemical bond between the base and activator. If it needs to "Breathe" covering it would hinder the curing I would think. Maybe I am all wet so let me know what you all think?

The epoxy cures by chemical action... As long as the flash time is observed you are good to go with the fatmat.. for reference flash times are minimum cure times before recoat..

Thanks for the info Guys!! I went back and read the tek sheet from front to back and back to front and the way it is worded leads me to believe 24 to 48 hrs and we are good to go. I will probably get back to it Next Wednesday so I will install the Fat Mat then..
