Steering: Pinto spindles, Granada rotor questions

I have a 46 Chevy pickup and I used a cross member out of a pinto, and used Granada rotors so I bought backing plates from a 75-79 Granada but they don't bolt up to my pinto spindles. So I was wondering if I bought Granada spindles will my Pinto rack bolt up to the spindles or what do I have to change for the swap thanks

Im assuming you're concerned about the tie rod ends?you can go to moogs website and look at both ends and see if the taper and the thread size on the rack end is the same.

This won't work. Pinto spindles are front steer, and Granada spindles are rear steer. If you managed to get it bolted together the Ackerman angles are totally wrong, and you will have tons of tire scrub. In addition the steering arms are much longer and will increase the turning radius greatly.

There are tons of adapters made to use a GM caliper with your Granada rotors on the Pinto spindle. But to use Granada calipers you are on your own. I would just use GM calipers instead of reinventing the wheel.
