tips for swapping 1984 454 from Winnebago into 89’ cop car
I’ve swapped small blocks into s10s, small blocks between full size cars and trucks but haven’t swapped a small block for a big block yet.
The motor was rebuilt a few years ago and has less than 1k miles on it. It moves the 26’ winny surprisingly well.
The tbi 350 is smoking when it gets a hot restart and it burns oil/ leaks.
I was planning a vortec 406 build but I snagged the rv for 1000$ and drove it home. The interior is full of garbage and smells of urine, busted windows hence the low price.
I want to keep the 700r4 but I will get a new converter maybe stalled a little higher- 2000ish rpm.
I’d like to use the 454 exhaust manifold also.
I’d also like to swap the 140 amp alternator I just bought for the 350.
