Tranny struggles

I have a 76 Chevy Elcamino w/ a 350 small block and a 350 turbo trans. rebuilt engine... car struggles in reverse and stalls. help please

By that description the forward clutch is seized.


Does it try driving in neutral?

Does it load up in Park

it drives... but will stall if accelerated to fast.

Sounds like you have an engine tune problem. Not a transmission problem.

Ask your engine tune questions in the engine forum. Many sharp engine guys there to offer suggestions if needed.
