That might be the right idea, I dunno how many St Bernards fit in one. Probably depends on the he to she ratio, like kids in a phone booth. Boy. Uh-oh, I've gone and dated myself now by saying phone booth. Been dating myself so long now, that one hand wants a ring.

I have a 65 Marlin. The trunk lid is about 2.5 ft square. People say "you have a very small trunk". I tell them it just has a small trunk lid. "I can get 5 bodies in there if I cut the pieces small enough".

The company that built it did form a partnership with Graham Paige to collaborate on a project. This company bought the stamping dies for the 810 "Coffin Nose" Cord after Cord folded. It lacked adaquite facilities to produce the remake of the Cord only in a cheaper model. Graham Paige had the factory to build the Cords. Each company would produce it's variation of the Cord. The Graham was to be the "Hollywood" and the other car was to be the "Skylark".

The other companies name? Hupmobile.

Brian your car is a 1928 Hupmobile Opera Coupe

The thing I can't figure out is why the Hup and the Graham look so very similar. Very small differences. In 1928. Hupp and G-P didn't form a partnership until 1938 on the Cord. I wonder if they shared designers. They didn't share manufacturing facilities until 38.

Beats me!

Actually the body was Built by Budd, who owned all the dies in the first place. Cord didn't have the money to build the dies, so assigned the design to Budd. After Cord went belly up, Budd designed new front ends for Hupmobile, and then Graham-Paige. Most of the Hups and G_Ps were sacrificed by Cord restorers in the 50s and 60s for body parts. Check out Gordon Beurig if you want more information on this.

I am thinking Studebaker but don't know the model. It would have to be a hot rod, an Avanti?
