It is a Morris Minor. Newer than '49 because my '49 had a small back window. BTW, It also had a flathead V8-60. My first car.

Hmmmm, Why do you have to remove both water pumps on a v8-60 to change only the left hand motor mount?

The motor mount is part of the water pump in later flat heads,,i guess you would have to remove both to keep it from binding and breaking the housing;;Don forget the hidden bolt inside pump.

Don't think early ones were made this way,???

What you are describing applies to the big flatheads but not the little V8-60

You would have to remove them but still have to take both water pumps off to change the upper motor mount.

This was kind of a trick question. Maybe it wasn't completely fair.

On the little V8-60 the front motor mounts and both water pumps are all part of the same casting. Therefore to change either water pump or either motor mount both water pumps come off together.

Somebody ask one. I am heading out.
