I went to the The race of Gentlemen last weekend at Pismo beach. Weather was not cooperating very well, after 3-4 hour delay, things started rolling. Rain and drizzle most of the day, the participants had a blast. here are a few pics, I will do more later. the first 3 pics are of a friend of mine, he owns the Blain Motorsports Foundation, a non profit group that is also kind enough to give our car club a place to meet. Brian is driving, Bill is standing along side in the 2nd and 3rd pic, an awesome wrench and fabricator. Pic 4 is the Zombies, a fun bunch. The last pic is one of 2 female drivers, she could drive! The crowd went nuts when she made it down to the beach, the entry had gone soft, many got stuck. She nailed it! Brian's car is a Model T, has a Rajo head with an overhead cam that was built back in the day, the only head like this known to exist. It hauls the mail! 100 H.P. as opposed to 20 for a stock Model T . The first pic shows him racing against a V-12 Lincoln engine, brian dusted him by abut 4 car lengths, weight and H.P. advantage.

Here are the motorcycle guys, the first pic is one of about 4 Japanese guys, (affiliated with Mooneyes, I believe), he was flat out nuts, running methanol, that bike screamed and went every which way but straight. He had a grin from ear to ear! Lots of cool bikes!
