Years ago I used Sikkens AutoCryl mixing black, straight. I forget the number, 795 comes to mind (but could be mistaken). It was the blackest black that I've ever seen.

I just moved so I don't have a connection with any local auto parts stores like I used to. ....

Any ideas on whether a store like carquest would give out a few oz to try?

Have you thought about Eastwoods water base products or auto air water base - blackest blacks Ive seen for a long time - My some shoots for a trailer maker in Tenn. and that's the products they now use - extra durable - just a thought- jaxx
