I would be on the phone to the place you bought it from to come take it back and refund my money. It hasn't sat near long enough since you bought it to have the engine seize...

They already have too many problems ,she is a severe diabetic,,and his Kidneys stopped working about two months ago and he is on dialisis,,I would just give them the money and scrap the lift before I would take it back or ask for any money back,, they need the money more than I do,

I will fix the lift just will have more money in it than I planned.

I thought you bought it from a company, didn't know it was a private party.

Good luck with it David. Fingers crossed.

You guys are all doing a lot more exciting things than I am. I did get my shroud corners cut out and fitted.

Lots of work involved when you can just order it,,i know I had same problems ,just not near as many parts to make as you,,front hood panel ,,inner fenders ,firewall and interior panel to replace gas tank is all I had ,they are big panels and fairly easy to work,,the small finish work seems to be the hardest for me.

I wish I had the hose blowing of on camera ,,it looked like the three stooges ,without mo and larry.

That is one of the downfalls of building a custom,,we spend Days and sometime weeks making something Just like we want it and no one ever sees it or realize the work that was done..But We know.

Yes I was filming it but my camera turned over and all I got was the light which everyone has already seen,,

if I can load it I have a very short video of what I am trying to do,
If it was running, no reason it should be seized. Maybe a dropped valve binding it up tight?

It could be but don't think it is it wont turn either direction a dropped valve it should rock a little one direction or the other,,i personally thik it has been sitting longer than what they told me,,they had a big stack of pallets where they sold machinery out of the shop ( supposed ) been only 2-3 months since the moved the pallets ,,don't sound right to me, I think a lot longer,

the starter was bad and battery dead when I bought it so I didn't hear it run ,just took their word,

Oh crap! Must run hide! Hey so do you guys think I'll be OK removing the braces bolted to the door hinge areas to make way for me and a sawzall in there? There won't be anything horizontal left except rockers and inners. But I figure it will probably be OK until it goes back on the roto.
